Andrea Garcia

Andrea is originally from the small farming community of Dinuba, California where she spent most of her youth before moving to the Bay Area to pursue undergraduate studies at Santa Clara University. Four years later, she received her B.S. in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Child Studies and a minor in Political Science. During her college years, Andrea became involved with Breakthrough Silicon Valley as a Teaching Fellow in the summer program and after graduation, as an intern with the Development team. As Sr. Coordinator of College Access Programs, Andrea is excited to be able to strengthen her relationship to the community of students and families she identifies with so closely, and to help students reinforce their college readiness skills.
