Danielle Serrano is a 2011 graduate of Breakthrough Silicon Valley. She earned a B.A. from Stanford University in Human Biology with a concentration in Behavioral Biology. As a first generation college student, she was active in Stanford’s FLI (First-generation Low Income) student organization, and became a preceptor in 2014 for the third cohort of Stanford’s Leland Scholars Program, a program for incoming freshmen who are among the first generation in their family to attend college. After graduation, Danielle worked as a college consultant helping students prepare for college. She returned to Breakthrough Silicon Valley to pursue her passion for increasing opportunities for under-represented communities through education. As Operations Coordinator, Danielle oversees general operations of the Breakthrough Silicon Valley offices.
